On Saturday 9 June, Goole College will host an Open Event and Activity Day for the local community to enjoy and a chance to see just what the college can offer.


The event runs from 10am to 2.00pm, is open to the public and is free entry.

Throughout the day there will be a range of family activities to enjoy including:

•Live Music

•Meet Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Ewoks and more film characters like The Predator

•Viking FM

•Prizes and Giveaways

•Face Painting

•Cakes and Tombola

•Ice Cream

•The Green Team – Plant sale

One of the aims of the event is also to showcase the excellent facilities and programmes available at Goole College and the public and prospective students will have the opportunity to see all of this in person.

There will be a plan of workshops, Interactive activities and demonstrations throughout the day including Welding, Carpentry & Joinery, Hairdressing and a host of team building exercises.

HCUK Training will be available at the event to discuss Apprenticeships.

There will also be refreshments stalls to keep guests fuelled for the event.
