As a Goolie, you have access to degree level education right on your doorstep, alongside a range of 19+ full time and part time courses.

Whether you want to progress within your current role, completely change careers or challenge yourself for fun, we have a course to assist you.

And as Halloween is nearing, we thought it may be wise to clear up some of those scary myths surrounding returning to education as an adult…

Will starting a new course be expensive?

We don’t think anyone should miss out on the chance to study so we have lots of options in place to help fund courses, like our Advanced Learner Loan.

Repayments will only begin when you earn over £25,725 per year and start at as little as £9 per month.

Our team can also assist with transport needs if you need to travel to and from college.

How will I find the time to study whilst working?

We offer a range of flexible courses to fit around hectic schedules including evening and online options.

What support will I get?

From help updating your CV to free counselling services, we have a specialist team of support workers available to provide dedicated support all year round.

We also host frequent events where students can update their CV’s, brush up on their interview skills, link with recruiters and meet local and national employers.

Can I study for a degree level qualification at Goole College?

Yes! We have the facilities and tutors in place to study higher education at Goole College.

Whether you’re a current student looking to progress or simply interested in studying at a higher level on a part time basis while you work, we can facilitate your learning.

We also offer extremely competitive fees!

Our Hull College campus also offers degree level courses. See the wide range on offer HERE.

What course should I choose?

If you are interested in returning to education but are unclear of which course is right for you, call our expert team on 01405 762420 for advice on career prospects and suitability.

We can also offer taster sessions so you can experience your course selected and determine what's right for you.

Am I too old?

You are never too old to learn! We have had learners enrol on courses from ages 16 to 80+. Plus, our team will be around to support you with each step of the way, whether it’s adapting to different learning techniques or using new software. The tutors will ensure you leave feeling confident and experienced.

If you want some more info, simply give our team a call on 01405 762420 or email us at gooleinfo@hull-college.ac.uk.
