Whether you’re interested in the engineering industry or want to work as a welder in the motor trade, the Level 2 Fabrication and Welding Study Programme teaches you a range of theory and practical welding skills that you’ll be using, whatever sector you choose to work in.

Covering MAG, manual, metal, and arc welding, alongside oxy fuel gas cutting and plasma cutting, you’ll also learn wider skills to help you get on in employment such as communication and working as a team. Work experience will also help you improve your professional skills and gain employment through the College’s contacts in industry.

From here, you can move into the Level 3 Programme to grow your skills or into an Apprenticeship.
