Overview

Bench joiners primarily work in the workshop, not on site. Their specialism is to work from drawn plans to manufacture items from scratch. You would learn to use various hand and power tools to complete the jobs required. You would learn to make items such as a staircase, window and door frames.

This course will offer you the opportunity to acquire the skills that are needed to produce a complex level of work, such as building a staircase with turns, as well as using the heavy duty machinery.
