Goole College are pleased to announce the expansion of their curriculum offer to include Higher Education courses.

The college will now offer degrees in Engineering, Health and Social Care, Young Children’s Learning and Development and Business.

Working in partnership with local employers such as the NHS, ABP, BMW, Croda and the LEP, Goole College have identified courses that employers will endorse and support, recognising that these courses can equip people with the skills that are required by these companies. The employers state that they will welcome applications from students who have studied their degrees at Goole College because they know they will be able to “hit the ground running”.

Alastair Brooks, Associate Director Commercial Services at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust said “We work in close partnership with Goole College on a variety of developmental projects relating to health and social care. The introduction of a Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care is a fantastic addition to their offer.  We are keen to be involved in many ways, for example, providing specialist input on the course, supporting visits to departments in the hospital and hopefully proving opportunities for work placements and internships.”

These degrees are available from September 2017 and applications are being taken with immediate effect ready for September.  Attendance will be available for full-time and part –time modes and the dedicated HE team at Goole College are happy to answer any questions that prospective applicants may have.

Caron Wright, Principal at Goole College said, “This is an exciting new development for our college and we are so pleased that local employers are happy to endorse our courses. This is just what is needed to boost employment opportunities for our community and to develop the much needed high level skills that are required for the region.”

For further information on any of the courses mentioned please call 01482 329943 extension 5031 to speak to one of the team.
